Aimee Lynn Finnan

She was born in Meadville, Pennsylvania on April 13, 1974, to the late Ronald and Judith (Bosnjak) Guth.

Aimee graduated from West Branch High School in Pennsylvania and enlisted in the United States Navy. Following her military service, Aimee completed a degree in culinary arts from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University. In addition to her service as a U.S. Navy mineman, Aimee worked as a chef, an event planner, a student teacher, and a general contractor and excavator, and operated her own painting contractor business, The Lady and the Brush.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years Joseph P. Finnan; sons Nicholas Finnan and Joseph R. Finnan, of Charlottesville; daughter-in-law Meagan Torrence; sister Lara Guth Beeson; and many friends.

She is predeceased by her parents Ronald and Judith Guth, and her son Christopher Finnan.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Teague Funeral Home, Charlottesville. Funeral will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Charlottesville, at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025.
