Amy Louise Little

Amy Louise Little, 62, of Charlottesville, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at home surrounded by those that loved her. Born on August 18, 1956, in Fort Pierce, Florida, she was the daughter of the late George Walton Little and Sarah Hines Ballowe Little.

Always a “Florida Girl” at heart, Amy enjoyed the beach, the mountains, writing and the University of Florida Gators. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Amy is survived by her sisters, Arlyne Little of Gainesville, Florida, and Abby Barger of Idledale, Colorado; step-mother Trudy Little of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida; niece and nephews, Kaitlyn, Michael and Miles; dear friend Carolyn Rainey, and her canine buddy, Huck. Amy was loved by many and will be missed.

The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center for the care, support and kindness provide to Amy.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Teague Funeral Home at 10 am. Memorial contributions may be made to the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center.
