Carol Ann Schaeffer Currier

Carol Ann Schaeffer Currier, age 82, died on Friday, April 21, 2017. She was born January 17, 1935, in Centreville, Virginia, to the late Raymond and Lena Marie Schaeffer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” James Currier; and her son, Robert “Robby” James Currier Jr.; and four brothers, Raymond, Kenneth, Pete, and James Schaeffer. She is survived by her daughter, Karen C. Wilson and her husband, Thomas E. Wilson II; and her very special granddaughter, Shannon C. Wilson, all of Charlottesville. Many friends and family are left to cherish her memory. Mrs. Currier was employed at the University of Virginia for 30 years and was a member of Meadows Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends at Teague Funeral Home on Monday, April 24, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Meadows Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m., officiated by the Reverend Tom Goodrich. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Meadows Presbyterian Church, 2200 Angus Rd.
