I have many fond memories of Carolyn since Kim is my best friend in the whole, wide world. However, I'd have to say my favorite memory is when Kim, Harris, my son and I traveled to Newport News for a visit. Carolyn and Tom were so kind and gracious. I felt so comfortable and we had so much fun.  I have cute photos of Carolyn, Harris and Campbell together. In addition, most recently, I was part of Harris' high school graduation and luncheon. I sat next to Carolyn and we talked and talked, laughed and laughed and posed for lots of happy photos. I also have happy memories of Carolyn and her sister coming to visit here in Nashville. Boy, did we all crack each other up as we sat in Kim's kitchen. Happy memories of a very precious and dear woman. Carolyn, you will be missed. We promise to keep Tom in line and I promise to keep... Kim in line. Okay, maybe I don't have control of the latter. :) Remembering with the fondest memories. LOVE, Lisa

Carolyn was a Very Kind and Sweet Lady. I  will always remember our trips  to the Beach and singing Karaoke. What a great time we all had. She will be truly missed by everyone who knew her. You all have my Deepest Sympathy.

Although I only met her once, Kim often related stories about her mother to me. Most recently, experiences from the wonderful trips they were taking together. May God be with you in this time and bring you comfort and peace.

Tom, Kim, Thomas and family,
I am so sorry to hear about Carolyn.  Such wonderful memories of that spunky little lady!  I can only hear the laughter when I think of her.  So many old times with Tom and Carolyn bring smiles.  One of my favorite memories was our girls weekend shopping trip to DC.  Carolyn kept the party going and we had such a blast.  I feel blessed I got to see her again in 2018 and the laughter continued on.  Your legacy lives on, sweet Carolyn.  You were a gem in my eyes and I will miss you.  Fly high sweetie.  

If I have known Tom forever, then I have had the pleasure of knowing Carolyn forever and a day. As noted, Carolyn had a sharp sense of humor and seemed to be ever eager to break into her infectious laugh. For me she was at her wittiest when Tom was her target. I was a guest in their house more than times than can be remembered.  Carolyn was ever the gracious host even when I stayed more than one night. She was an avid board game player, Wii bowler, Guitar Hero fan, and was part of our frequent late night Beatles singing trio. In all of these as well as in life Carolyn was perfectly self-assured. She had confidence in whatever she attempted whether it was warranted or not.
I will miss Carolyn greatly. I  will be reminded of her every time I drink a good dry red wine. Thank you Carolyn for all the memories. 


Carolyn's laughter resonates in all of my memories of her. Not only was she a friend, she was my office manager and upbeat coworker at the neurology practice. We worked and laughed together there, remarkably both of us pregnant at the same time.  Carolyn's sense of humor and quick wit boosted my spirits. Her friendship extended past the office. Throughout  the years we kept in touch, highlighted by  sharing  a marvelously fun year driving our sons' kindergarten carpool, followed by other happy occasions together. I'll always treasure those delightful times spent with Carolyn. Carolyn made me feel special.  

There so much to say about Carolyn! First she was the greatest sister and best friend I could have ask for! She was always by my side  to show love and support thru my difficult times! 
She was a smart, strong , and funny woman! Anyone who met her loved her right away! I have memories to live by now but she will always be in my heart and soul! Till we meet again ! Your sister Jackie
