Charles was THE MAN when it came to cars. I remember him driving his wife's pink Roger Rabbit car to the nearby convenience store. He'd often test drive one of his hot rods along 618. The last time I witnessed this, I also witnessed a marked sheriff's car respond to the sound of pipes and sqealing rubber. I'm sure laid back Charles talked his way out of that one. It's probably the same way he entered his forever home-laid back and on two wheels.
