Charles "Charlie" F. Taylor

Charles F. Taylor, affectionately known to most as Charlie, 80, of Charlottesville died on Monday, April 29, 2024 at his home. Born March 10, 1944 in Albemarle County, he was the son of the late Fred Taylor and Alice Frances (Clark) Taylor. Charlie owned and operated his fencing company for more than 50 years in the Charlottesville area. In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Hayton Taylor. Charlie leaves behind his loving daughter, Kelly Taylor and her boyfriend, Steven “Bama” Clark; his brother, Billy Taylor and his wife, Pattie Taylor; his niece, Lynn Leathers and her husband Troy; and his great nephews, Aaron Leathers and Adam Leathers. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00am on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Preddy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Bacon officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Teague Funeral Service, 2260 Ivy Road, Charlottesville VA.
