Daniel Holden White passed away August 2, 2015. Dan was born on July 11th, 1964 in Monterey, California to Joanne Holden White and George William White, Jr. He spent his formative years in Virginia Beach, VA. Dan graduated from F.W. Cox High School in 1982. He achieved his Associates Degree in Computer Science from Tidewater Community College.
Sargeant Dan White served as a correctional officer at Albemarle Charlottesville Regional Jail for the past 15 years. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Neblett, son Daniel Holden White, Jr., and Grandson Julian White. He is also survived by: parents Joanne and John Roberts, identical twin brother Thomas Walter White, and other siblings: Kathleen, Jennifer, and George. As Dan wished, his ashes will be scattered into the ocean at the Outer Banks of North Carolina, a place dear to his heart.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Teague Funeral Home in Charlottesville.
