Obituary of Danielle Lynn Jones
Danielle Lynn Jones, 34 of Charlottesville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 7, 2022. Danielle was born on April 14, 1988, in Biloxi, Mississippi, to Gary and Diane Jones. After graduating from Charlottesville High School, Danielle entered the work force with a strong work ethic. Danielle worked a few jobs for varying numbers of years, until settling in with UVA Physician’s Group about 7 years ago. Danielle’s constant desire to improve things for herself and her beloved son Malik, combined with her strong work ethic, lead her to successfully start her own business: OCD Cleaning Services -Outrageously Clean with Danielle, as the owner/operator. Danielle had her sights set on purchasing her first home and taking many travel vacations with Malik. Danielle was a devoted single mother to Malik. Malik was more than Danielle’s son; he was also her Sun(shine). Danielle’s love and devotion for Malik was very well known and the light of her days rose with him. Despite the odds stacked against her, Danielle was a magnificent Mom for Malik, and that fact is evidenced by the fine young man Malik has become. Danielle was a fun-loving person who possessed an infectious smile and matching personality. Danielle loved spending time with her friends, many of whom she considered to be extended family and who, in turn, viewed Danielle as a part of their extended family. Danielle’s unexpected passing “hit hard” for everyone who knew her, she was way too good of a person to have been taken so young. The extensive outpouring of Love since her passing serves as testament to Danielle’s integrity and the quality of her character. Danielle was a Bright Light for those who knew and loved her. The Light she provided for others was not dimmed by her passing, and she would want people to focus there while they celebrate her Life. Danielle is survived by her son, Malik Scott; sister, Nicole Jones; father, Gary Jones; mother, Diane (Hobus) Jones; her beloved dog Charlie; extended family; and friends she viewed as family. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 5-8pm and a Funeral Service on Friday May 20, 2022 at 2pm, both events will occur at Teague Funeral Service. Memorial contributions in Danielle’s name may be made in lieu of flowers to the Shelter for Help in Emergencies to help end domestic violence in our community, if you so choose. https://www.shelterforhelpinemergency.org/
