

Dequeta K. Hill, 62, of Troy, wife of Willie Odell Hill Sr., passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 8, 1956 in Charlottesville to Marian (Burns) Dixon and the late William Dixon. She was the pastor of New Season Ministries of Troy. She worked for Albemarle County Social Services Department for over 13 years. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her beloved sisters, Barbara Kelley and Varinia Dixon. Surviving in addition to her loving husband of 13 years are her children, Pronta Anderson, Essence Anderson, Adrian Anderson (Tonya), Marcy Anderson all of Charlottesville, Marius Anderson of Chesapeake, Catrina Murphy (Joe) of Maryland, and Willie Hill Jr. (Dawn) of Newport News; thirteen grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; five brothers, Gregory and his wife, Loretha, of Richmond, Ralph Dixon and his wife, Luretha, of Charlottesville, Rodney Dixon of Troy, Aaron Dixon of Pennsylvania, and Randall Dixon of Orange; and her sister, Linda Taylor of Charlottesville. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2019, at First Baptist Church, 735 Park Street, Charlottesville with a repast to follow. A private burial will be held at a later date.
