She was born on August 4th, 1938, in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she grew up.
A 1954 graduate of Albemarle High School, she worked as an accountant at Sperry Marine Systems, and later as an account representative at Resorts.
She was actively involved in The Charlottesville Businesswomen’s Association and volunteered at Martha Jefferson Hospital. She loved reading as well as making and painting pottery.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Thomas “Ben” Pritchett, and her parents Richard T. Garrison and Maggie Garrison.
She is survived by her siblings Richard Garrison, Patricia G. Neel, and Margaret Stavitski; her two sons and their spouses, Barry and Melisa Pritchett, and Alan and Bridget Pritchett; her two grandchildren, Angela Pritchett and Wesley Pritchett; as well as six nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Windrush at Garden City Assisted Living Facility in Garden City, South Carolina, as well as Agave Hospice Care for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Teague Funeral Home, 2260 Ivy Road in Charlottesville on Monday, September 28th from 6 pm to 8 pm. Burial will be Tuesday, September 29th at 2 pm at Holly Memorial Gardens.
