Gregory Scott Morris

Gregory Scott Morris, 47, of Ruckersville passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Born on June 25, 1969 he was a son of Eddie and Jackie Shiflett Morris. Greg was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Lonnie and Aroncia Morris; maternal grandfather, Norman Shiflett; and uncles, Leon Morris and Norman Shiflett. In addition to his parents Greg will be sorely missed by his daughter, Cynthia Morris; sons, Jeremy and Camdon Morris; brother, Jeffrey Morris; and grandmother, Margaret Shiflett. He will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Greg worked with his father as a painter for Eddie Morris Painting. He also enjoyed fishing, and gardening. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Evergreen Church of Brethren in Dyke. Interment will follow in the churchyard. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Friday, March 24, 2017 at Teague Funeral Home.
