

He was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer in July of 2024 and fought so hard for 8 months and stayed so strong. Hadden graduated from Monticello High School on April 8th, 2025, he was the 1st to graduate from the class of 2025 from Monticello High. Hadden also got Baptized on April 8th, 2025, by Pastor Dave Webb.
Hadden is survived by his parents James and Niki Deane of Scottsville. Hadden also is survived by his brother Thurston Shifflett and his Family from Fluvanna and by his sister Devin Morris and her family from Woodridge. He is also survived by his grandparents Mary and Ernest Deane of Scottsville, and Walter and Tonja Peery from Buckingham. Hadden was also survived by his Aunts Christina Roche’ and her husband Chris and their family from Gordonsville and Ann Rodriguez and her husband Vincent and their family from Scottsville and Dorothy Deane who was waiting in Heaven at the Pearly Gates for him. He also has an Uncle Jason Deane and his wife Bonnie and their family from Georgia. Hadden has a big family, a lot of Cousins and 2nd Cousins that loved him so much and Great Aunts and Great Uncles that also loved him.
Hadden had such a big heart, anyone that met him would tell you that. He always put others first and foremost before himself. Hadden got to go and do a meet and greet with his favorite artist Jelly Roll, and he loved collecting knives, Yu-Gi-Oh cards and loved Anime and let’s not forget about SpongeBob that was his favorite cartoon. He loved his Monticello High School Family that was always by his side, and he felt the love from them. He had so many great teachers that he talked about a lot and looked forward to them coming to see him. Hadden loved flipping his Dad off he thought it was funny. Hadden was so Special and if you ever met him, you couldn’t help but become his friend. He touched every life that he encountered, and he will be missed by so many. May You Forever Be In Peace!
