He is survived by the mother of his children, Kay Allison; his five children, Rebecca Graves, Janet Holmes, Van Herold and his wife, Trudy, Kathy Herold, and Bobby Herold; seven grandchildren, Jody Holmes and his wife, Lisa, Lauren Bryant and her husband, Jimmy, Cristey Lombardi and her husband, Mike, Jackie Holmes, Tyler Herold and his wife, Brianna, Sunny Herold, and Dylan Herold; two great-grandchildren, Sedona Holmes and Ford Lombardi. He leaves many friends and extended family to cherish his memory.
The family will have a private gathering.
