

Janet Lee Litton, 70, of Schuyler, VA passed away peacefully at home on October 22, 2022 with her daughters and son in law by her side, after a long battle with polycystic kidney disease which she fought courageously for many years.
She was born in Charlottesville, VA on September 1, 1952 to Charles Andrew Morris and Helen Louise Morris. Janet was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 34 years Charles William Litton, parents Charles and Helen Morris, brother Charles Edward Morris, nephew Chuck Morris, mother and father-in-law Dorothy and Albert Greenwood and Jack Litton, sister-in-law Teresa Litton, brother-in-law David Litton and niece Lisa Lewis.
She is survived by her “baby girls & baby boy” daughters Ashley Litton, Tracie Harvey and her husband Greg. Her cherished grandchildren, Silas Litton, Kyle Harvey and his wife Elizabeth, Dylan Harvey and Caitlin Harvey. In addition to her immediate family, Janet is survived by her sister Pamela Thomas and her husband Lawrence and brother Daniel Morris. Her sisters in law Christel Lewis and her husband Ed, Bonnie Gottschalk and her husband Dale. Brothers in law Denis Litton and his wife Gloria,
Junior Miller and his wife Dawna and Robert Litton. Her aunties, Mary Cottle, Martha Gray and Cornelia Dudley. Cousins, Lydia Messer, Jo Villanova, Judy Heilman, Jane Ballard, Jeff Gray, Ronnie Cottle, Amy
Sheler and Robert Dudley who were all like brothers and sisters to her. Her many nephews and nieces Laurie, Matthew, Andy, Shawn, Mary, Brandon, Cori, Amy, Stephanie, Emily and Emearl. She will also be missed by her many beloved friends and coworkers at Region Ten.
Janet was a dedicated reimbursement specialist at Region Ten and recently retired after 38 years of service. She had a heart of gold and loved her family and friends dearly and would do anything for them.
Janet was a homebody and enjoyed the simple things in life such as her morning coffee, reading, watching the hummingbirds, enjoying nature and she was an enthusiastic lover of HSN and QVC shopping. She was the rock of our family and will be missed by all that loved her but she will live in our hearts forever.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 12, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Teague Funeral Home, 2260 Ivy Road Charlottesville, VA 22903.
