Jean Alma Deane

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Ausie Dudley and Alese Snead Dudley.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Wayne Deane; children, Wayne Deane, Jr., of Detroit, MI, Jeannie and Scott Collins, of Free Union, VA, Charlie and Violet Deane, of Charlottesville; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are brothers Robert Dudley and his wife Teresa Morris, Earl Junior Dudley and his wife Mary Dudley, and Ronnie Dudley, Sr., and his wife Rosie Thomas; sisters Doris Thomas and her husband Larry Thomas, Joyce C. Morris and her husband Louis Clements; and her aunt Lucille Shaver of Charlottesville, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jean also leaves behind her loving dogs Pickey and Little Bitty.

The family would like to thank Angela at Hospice of the Piedmont for her care of Jean.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at her home.
