Joey was my best friend freshman and sophomore year and I was sad to lose him. I still think of him and every so often I’ll look at my year book where he signed it. I considered him my brother and I wish we were still talking so I could have helped him anyway I could.

He was my classmate for a year. It's not much but he was my friend nonetheless. I am sorry for the loss of Joe. He actually died on my birthday. He was a great kid, always brightening up the classroom. On the days he wasn't there, it felt like our small group of friends was missing a piece and that piece was him.
