Kristen Morris Burke

Kristen “Krissy” Morris Burke passed away suddenly on February 14th, 2026. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband and high school sweetheart, Oliver Burke, and their daughters Summer and Violet “Vivi” of Charlottesville; her parents, Ray and Kim Morris of Troy; her brothers Ryan Morris and fiancé Kelli of Ruckersville, Justin Morris and wife Alysha of Holly Springs, NC, Justin Mundie and wife Heather of Gordonsville, Hunter Morris and wife Natalie of Crozet, and her sister Kaitlyn Howard and husband Brandon of Palmyra.

She is also survived by her grandparents Curtis Payne of Troy, and Kelley and Barbara Mundie of Charlottesville, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Krissy was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Bailey Morris; her mother-in-law, Martha Randolph; her grandparents Raymond and Alice Morris, Jim and Kathleen Bailey, and Betty Payne; as well as her aunt Katie Turner and uncle Mark Bailey.

Krissy was born on September 27, 1983, and grew up in Fluvanna County. She graduated from Fluvanna County High School in 2001. Krissy worked for many years as a paper carrier in Charlottesville so that she could be home with her daughters. She loved spending time with her family at the beach. She had a deep love for all animals and a home filled with her beloved fur babies.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 5 pm at City Church, 1010 East Rio Road, Charlottesville, VA 22901.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Violet and Summer by check and sent to Teague Funeral Service 2260 Ivy Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903.

Krissy, and her laugh that could fill a room, will be deeply missed by us all.
