It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a truly remarkable woman, whose warmth, kindness, and selflessness touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was a devoted daughter, sister, a doting auntie, and a dedicated fur-mother who leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion.
Known for her gentle soul and giving nature, she was a person who always prioritized others wants and needs before her own. Her life was defined by an extraordinary capacity for forgiveness, generosity, and always looking for the best in others. Her selflessness was perhaps most evident in her years of devotion as a caregiver to her mother and her sister, her patience with her elderly animals, and her urge to provide unwavering support to those she loved when it was needed most.
She found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved the serenity of the beach, lighthouses, the moon, being in on, or near water, and cooking and decorating for Christmas and celebrating it with others. A woman of many interests, she delighted in playing board games, British television, swimming, and bringing the family together for holidays. She was the heart of her family, the one who held everyone together through every season.
Her passions were as vibrant as her personality. She found freedom and happiness riding horses alongside her best friend, Karen, and she rarely missed a Virginia basketball game, which she loved watching with her best friend since the age of 16, Denise. A friendship of a lifetime that most people will never get the opportunity to experience. Most importantly, she was a devoted lover of all animals, especially her many Corgis, horses, and cats she had throughout her life. She is survived by her beloved Corgi, Bennett, who will miss her dearly.
She is also survived by her loving nephews, Lindsay Justin White and his wife, Lacey White, Brandon Jeffrey White, her grandniece Italia White, and her long time friend RJ Hutton. She will be remembered as the auntie and friend who was always ready to lend a helping hand, offering support with a grace and kindness that truly defined her spirit.
Though she is no longer with us, the light she brought into this world remains in the hearts of those she loved, whether animal or human. She taught us the true meaning of selflessness, the importance of family and time well-spent, and the beauty of a kind word or thoughtful action. She will be profoundly missed.
