Lester E. Garrison Jr.

February 11, 2022 the Lord put his arms around Lester and asked him to come home to be in peace and no longer in pain. Lester was a wonderful Husband, Father, Brother, and Friend. Lester was preceded in death by his parents, Lester E. Garrison Sr. and Nettie Wood Garrison, and his sister Willie Mae Talley. Lester is survived by his wife Patricia Garrison of 31 years, son L.E. Garrison III and his wife Missy, two daughters; Michelle Wood and special friend Tania Williams, Leslie McKinnon and her husband Kevin, one sister Deborah Walker and husband Wayne, a brother-in-law Charles Talley, step-daughter Tracy Melton and husband Charles and step-son Richard Wilson and wife Renee.

Lester leaves behind numerous grandchildren, one great-grandson, many special aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He had many wonderful friends and neighbors. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who were able to care for and comfort him. Services will be held at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church 2500 Old Lynchburg Rd.
