Margaret Mattox Love

Margaret Mattox Love, 94, of Charlottesville passed away on Friday February 20, 2015. She was born on October 22, 1920 to Edward Hogue Mattox and Annie Turner Mattox in Campbell County, Virginia. Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ollie Goode Love. She is survived by her son; Gregory G. Love and her daughter; Sharon E. Love and her husband Phil Greenbaum; three grandchildren Brittany Drumheller and her husband Eric Drumheller, Brian Love and Tyler Love, her three great-grandchildren Dakota, Lillian and Aubrey Drumheller; nieces Shirley M. Gregg, Lucille M. Woodford and her husband Henry Woodford and Katherine Worsham. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her two brothers and one sister. Margaret and Goode were married in the University Chapel in 1947 and had remained residents of Albemarle County. She worked for the University of Virginia for over 25 years, first for the Department of Economics and then for the Law School. She and Goode were members of Farmington Country Club for over 60 years. There will be no service. Friends may sign a guest register at teaguefuneralhome.com.
