Marie Theresa Reyman

February 16, 1930-August 4, 2026

Marie T. (Mullan) Reyman, 96, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026 in Charlottesville, VA, surrounded by loving family and caregivers. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary, her sister, Noelle, and her husband of 58 years, Bill.

She was born in N. Y. and raised in the Bronx, N.Y. where she met and married the love of her life, William Reyman. Over time, they were blessed with seven children - Susan, Marianne, Jean, Bill, Marie, Michael and Paul; seventeen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Marie's life was lovingly dedicated to caring for her family; visiting the homebound; volunteering at her church as a Eucharistic Minister and as a counter of the weekly donations. She and Bill enjoyed yearly vacations to "the islands" with their good friends, Marguerite and Steve. In her free time, what little there was, Marie enjoyed playing tennis, riding horses and reading.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sister, aunt, neighbor and friend, Marie will be dearly missed. Her love for life will be remembered by the countless family, friends and strangers whom she has touched with her laughter and her love.
