Mason Early Rea

July 1, 1958 - October 25, 2026

Mason Early Rea was born to Mason Eugene Rea and to Merle Grethen Pugh. Mason proudly served in the United States Army for over 14 years, until he received a medical discharge. While serving abroad he met the mother of his two daughters.

Mason is survived by his brother Marvin (Gene) and his wife Sandy. Mason is also survived by his sister Judy, who was his caregiver during his time dealing with serious medical issues for the past seven years. Mason is also survived by his brother John (Kaye) and his brother Danny, Daughters Crystal Singh and Mandy Rea. Mason loved his grandchildren Depey, Little Mason and Little Earl even though he was only able to see them through skype. Mason is also survived by his nephews, Steve, Timmy, and Chris.

Mason loved his dogs Snuggle, Mandy, Polar. Mason was also very fond of Luna and Midnight, the two dogs of Gene and Sandy.

Family night will be held Monday November 2nd, 2026, from 6p.m-8p.m. at Teague Funeral Service 2260 Ivy Rd Charlottesville VA 22903

A graveside service will be held on November 3rd, 2026, at 1p.m. at Culpeper National Cemetery 501 E Chandler St, Culpeper VA 22701.

The graveside service will be Officiated by Pastor Josh Shifflett.
