Michael Logan Martinez

Michael Logan Martinez, 13, of Troy, passed away on December 25, 2017. Michael was born on May 14, 2004, to Norman Michael and Mary Evelyn (Sherrill) Martinez II. He was an 8th grade student at Louisa County Middle School. Michael enjoyed spending time with his sister and brothers and playing computer/video games. Michael was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother Mary Ella Higgins (Mary Mom). In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his sister Abby and brothers Matthew and Aiden. Michael is also survived by his paternal grandparents Michael Sr and Rita Martinez, maternal grandparents John and Lynda Sherrill, paternal Aunt Maria-Elena Martinez, her fiancé CL Robbins, maternal Aunt and Uncle Ruth and Roby Lovett and cousins Sofia, Devon, Alex, Ayla, Sethy, John, and Noorie. Michael bravely battled Cystic Fibrosis and was able to pass on the gift of life that he received at age 9 (lung transplant) by being an organ donor.
