Oscar Forsberg

Oscar Forsberg, 83, of Charlottesville passed away on June 27, 2016. He was born on November 15, 1932 to the late Rudolf and Betty B. Forsberg. He was the beloved husband of Helen Forsberg for over 40 years.

He loved good old-fashioned country music and fishing, and his sense of humor and personality will be dearly missed.

In addition to his wife Helen, Oscar is preceded in death by his sister, Vera Plude, and his special nephew Larry Plude.

Oscar is survived by his three sons: Ronnie and his wife Ava, Donnie and his wife Leah, and Jonnie and his wife Rachel; six grandchildren: Rebecca, Harper, Gillian, Emma, Scarlett, and Lillian. There are also many friends, nieces, nephews and extended family who will cherish his memory.

A funeral service will be conducted Friday, July 1, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Teague Funeral Home in Charlottesville with a burial to follow at Monticello Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday night from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
