Pamela Anne Macdiarmid Hoover died on August 27, 2014 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her father, George Francis Macdiarmid and her mother Lorraine Whiteman Macdiarmid. She is survived by her husband John Russell Hoover, Jr., her brother George Edwin Macdiarmid and his wife Jan Hutchinson Macdiarmid of Pass Christian Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at St. David’s Anglican Catholic Church in Charlottesville, Virginia on Friday August 29 at 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Emily Couric Cancer Center at the University of Virginia, or the charity of your choice.
