He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Roberta “Bobbi” Melton McGuire; his daughter, Roberta McGuire Mathews (Matt), and grandchildren, Robert Melton McGuire, Chester Louis McGuire Collins, Georgia Gray McGuire and Ruth-Riley McGuire Collins.
He is predeceased by his son, Melton Clay McGuire.
Mickey had a full and interesting life. He wanted his family and friends to know he “had a great life” and has “moved on.”
A private family service will be held graveside at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia on October 29, 2022.
