Ricky Lee Millway

Ricky Lee Millway, 70, passed away on September 17, 2026, in Charlottesville Virginia with his sister and brother-in-law by his side. Born in Charlottesville Virginia on June 17, 1956, he is pre-deceased by paternal grandparents, Emory Lawrence Millway & Sally Mae Proffitt Millway, maternal grandparents Herman Shuler Summers and Winkie Watts Belew Summers, mother Virginia Mae Summers Carroll, father Emory Lawrence Millway Jr and stepfather Claude Clinton Carroll. Sisters Cynthia Ann Millway and Brenda Sue Millway. He is survived by sister Angela Millway Breaud, brother-in-law Paul Breaud and one Aunt, Bunny Morris of Mechanicsville VA.

His heart was with the outdoors when he was able, and he had a special love of fishing and found his greatest peace on the water, casting lines. His was also a devoted animal lover, generous neighbor and for many years, always cooked the Thanksgiving turkey to perfection.

There are no immediate plans for a service at this time. Any donations in his remembrance and lifelong love of animals, can be made to an animal charity that touches your heart.
