Mr. Robert L McCauley Sr.

Robert Lee McCauley, 64, of Columbia, VA went home to be with the Lord on March 4th, 2015. He was born on March 6, 1950 to Roy Lee McCauley and Virgie Mae McCauley. He leaves behind his wife, Phyllis McCauley; his children, Charles Harmon and his wife Loretta Harmon, Loretta McCauley, Melissa McCauley, and Robert McCauley, Jr.. He is survived by eight sisters: Patricia McCauley Brown, Shirley Jean McCauley, Carolyn McCauley Shifflett, Janet McCauley Snow, Cindy Ferguson, Rhonda Wilson McCauley, Joyce Broderick McCauley; two brothers: Dean McCauley and Michael McCauley. He also leaves behind eleven grandchildren: Charles Jr., Travis, Brian, Amber, Kenneth Jr., Victoria, Savannah, Justin, Emily, Benjamin, and Elizabeth, as well as five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous neices and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Roy Lee McCauley, two sisters, Mary Jane McCauley Price, and Dorothy McCauley Showalter, and a brother, Kenneth McCauley.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother, and he will be greatly missed by all.

A funeral service will be held at Alberene Cemetery in Esmont at 2:00 PM on March 10, 2015. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 9, from 6-8 PM at Teague Funeral Home, 2260 Ivy Rd. Charlottesville, VA 22903.
