Steve Gordon Thacker, age 56, of Charlottesville passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2015. Born on May 13, 1958 he was a son of the late Lloyd and Ruth Hutchinson Thacker. He was also preceded in death by his sister Patricia Deane; his nephew, Todd Spencer; and his special aunt, Nealie “Dee” Hutchinson. Steve is survived by his sons Dwayne Thacker, Varian Thacker, and Dustin Thacker; daughter, Cynthia Ciarlente; sister, Peggy Graves; and brothers, Lloyd “Buddy” Thacker and Philip Mark Thacker. He is also survived by his grandchildren Brianna, Kylee, Savannah, Alyssa, Karrina, Jaiden, and Caitlin. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation for the care and love they gave Steve. A Memorial Service will be conducted 2:00pm Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the Teague Chapel.
