Theresa Desimone

Theresa was born, August 20, 1956, to the late Ronald and Maralyn Desimone, in upstate New York.

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Charles W. Blair.

Theresa is survived by her husband of 35 years, Rodney Sipe; her stepsons, Tony, Jedidiah (Krista), and Tyler (Kaythurn) Sipe; her grandchildren, Clara, TJ, Adeline, Isla, and Guinevere; her siblings, Kathy Erin, James (Joanne) Desimone, Mary Ann (Michael) Schofield, and Irene Kogut; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She loved gardenia flowers, windchimes, road trips to the mountains with her husband Rodney, and shopping trips with her sister Mary Ann. Theresa's bright and cheerful personality made her career of bartending a joy for her customers and coworkers alike. She was a bartender for many years and won the Bartender of the Year Award for Charlottesville while working for Charles Friend at The Holiday Inn. Most recently she was working The 19th Hole at The Glenmore Club. Glenmore members loved and took great care of Theresa. Whenever her job was mentioned, she would always say, "This is my happy place".

A visitation will be held at Teague Funeral Service, located at 2260 Ivy Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903, on December 29, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Thomas Aquinas, 401 Alderman Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903, on December 30, 2025, at 11:00 am.

A reception will follow at Teague Funeral Service, 2260 Ivy Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903, on December 30, 2025, starting at 12:30 pm.
