

Walter Schultz, 78, of Nellysford, Virginia went to meet with his Lord on October 24, 2015. He was born on June 19, 1937 in Passaic, New Jersey to the late Ethel Godla Gabor, and he was the beloved husband of Carol Lee (Nick) Schultz.
Walter was a master of many things in his lifetime. He retired from a long career as a bank Vice President from Summit Bank in New Jersey in 1996. He was also an accomplished carpenter who was known for many construction projects with family and friends. He particularly enjoyed spending time fishing with his grandson, David, as well as deep sea fishing, flying model airplanes, and driving his Corvette. He never knew a stranger and was always willing to help family and friends.
In addition to his mother, Walter is preceded in death by his father John Gabor and his in-laws Fred and Marie Nick.
He is survived by his wife Carol Lee; his daughter Cheryl Weidow, her husband Todd, and his grandson David Weidow.
Many other friends and relatives are left to cherish his memory.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 11 AM Thursday, October 29, 2015 at St. Thomas Aquinas University Parish in Charlottesville, VA. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM and 5-8 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Teague Funeral Home in Charlottesville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Walter’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
