

of Charlottesville, Virginia passed away on Monday August 18th, 2025 at the age of 74. He was born on December 29th, 1950 in Washington D.C. where he grew up and moved to Baltimore, Md at 16 years old.
He graduated from University of Maryland in 1980 and later obtained a Masters Degree from University of Baltimore in 2001. He worked in information systems and later became a university professor at the University of Baltimore. He encouraged education and was available for students at all times. He generously used his networking skills to find employment for students and friends at the Federal Social Security administration in Baltimore, some of which still work there today. Wayne LOVED music and was an accomplished blues and jazz guitarist spending most of his spare time playing in clubs and bars with his friends. In addition to music, Wayne was always up for a game of poker or watching baseball or football. He loved the Orioles and the Commanders (later the Ravens).
Before his illness, he was actively involved with drug and alcohol recovery programs including N.A.& A.A. He was preceded in death by his father, John B. Parham and his mother Catherine C. Parham. He is survived by his wife, Donna Parham, his sister in law Carolyn (Stephen) Langille, nieces Erin and Sarah, nephew Jake, many cousins and extended family, close friends, and his furry companion Stevie Ray. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Piedmont for their unfailing support and UVA pharmacy.
