Wilma Jean “Jeanne” Boghosian, a devoted servant of God, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025, in Charlottesville, Virginia, at the age of 95. Born on August 19, 1929, in Kinta, Oklahoma, Jeanne led a life marked by unwavering faith, compassion, and dedication to others.
A devout Christian, Jeanne committed her life to ministry and service. After raising her two children, she pursued theological studies at the Morris Cerullo School of Ministry in San Diego and Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena. Her passion for sharing God’s love led her to missionary work spanning four decades in Nigeria and India, where she helped build churches, schools, and wells—bringing both spiritual and practical nourishment to countless communities. Jeanne also founded and led her own church in Tulare, California, guiding many in their walk with faith.
Later in life, she retired to Charlottesville, Virginia, where she remained active in her spiritual life and cherished time spent with her family. Jeanne was also a gifted gardener, painter, and avid reader, always nurturing beauty and wisdom in all she did.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Diana; her five grandchildren—Scott, Shane, Andrew, Aaron, and Kristianna; her ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will remember her warmth, generosity, and steadfast faith.
Jeanne’s legacy of love, service, and faith will live on in the many lives she touched around the world.
A wonderful mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed.
