Graedy was born on August 13, 2012, in Springfield, IL, the son of Adam and Catherine (VonDeBur) Skelton.
Graedy was a student at Glenwood Middle School in Chatham, Illinois. He was also a devoted member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Chatham. Graedy studied Jiu Jitsu and loved playing video games, hunting, watching anime, playing with Lego, and spending time with his family.
Graedy was preceded in death by his father, Adam Skelton; and uncle, Joseph VonDeBur.
Graedy is survived by his mother and stepfather, Catherine Skelton and Mark Poani of Chatham; siblings, Brantley, Cadence, and Hayden; stepsiblings, Aly and Logan Poani of Chatham; grandparents, Edward and Colleen VonDeBur; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home-Chatham, 8855 State Route 4, Chatham, IL 62629.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, at St. Joseph the Worker, 700 E. Spruce St., Chatham, IL 62629, with Rev. Joseph M. Molloy.
