

She was born on July 12, 1956, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of William and Barbara (Creasey) Driver. MaDonna married Jerry Lackey on July 19, 1991, in Springfield’s Washington Park.
MaDonna attended Glenwood High School and graduated from Christian Faith Academy in 1974. She went on to work first as an insurance analyst for Franklin Life for 37 years, and then as an office administrator for the City of Virden for 10 years. MaDonna was a member of Grace Southern Baptist Church for several years and became a member of Cherry Hills Church in 2019. She donated frequently to various charities, enjoyed football Sundays, gardening her flowers, cooking, baking, jewelry, and spending time with her family (especially her grandchildren).
She was preceded in death by her parents.
MaDonna is survived by her husband, Jerry Lackey of Chatham; daughters, Amber (Mark) Farnsworth and Marissa (Brian) Earley, both of Auburn; son, Aaron (Rachel) Matrisch of Virden; grandchildren, Alex, Brayden, and McKenna Farnsworth, Cameron and Mallory Meisenheimer, and Avery, Kadie, and Izzy Earley; sister, Marilyn (Jeff) Moore of McMinnville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center, prior to services.
Memorial Gathering and Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Butler Funeral Home – Chatham, 8855 State Route 4, Chatham, followed by the ceremony at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jerry Weber officiating.
