Shirley Ann Morgan

She was born on February 7, 1947, the daughter of Lonnie Francis and Violet Genevieve (Hendrickson) Gant.

Shirley attended New Berlin High School. She then held various careers including serving as a CNA for Auburn Rehab Nursing Care, a bus driver for Virden schools, and owned her own tavern in Litchfield. Shirley enjoyed traveling to flea markets with her husband and making her amazing pickles.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey Morgan; infant sister, Connie Marie Gant; and son-in-law, Delbert Gibson.

Shirley is survived by her son, Robert (Joleen) Stanton of New Lisbon, WI; daughter, Connie Stanton of Gillespie; grandson, Robert (Ashley) Stanton of Thayer; siblings, Sandy Barker of Quincy, Curt Gant of Gillespie, and Madeline (Charles) Gallo of Auburn; great-grandchildren, Anndrea, Brantley, and Emmalee; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and fur baby, Skeeter.

She also leaves special friends, Aunt Minnie and Beverly Gray; caretaker, Shannon Willis-Rhoades; and neighbor, JoAnne Morgan.

Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
