On Friday, May 21st, 2021, loving son and beloved brother passed away at age 42. Dave was born May 4th, 1979, in Sydney, Australia to Richard and Carol Mack. He was the second of three children. Dave received several degrees from fine institutions including Salve Regina, American University, and was currently enrolled in the master’s degree program Teaching English as a Foreign Language at the University of Southern California.
Dave had a passion for travel, grunge music, playing music on several instruments, and photography. In his lifetime David lived on the East Coast and West Coast, Europe, South America and taught English as a Second Language to children all over the world. Dave captured his encounters throughout the world through photographs. In his lifetime, Dave visited over 40 countries on 6 continents. He lived his life as an adventurer and immersed himself in culture, food, and art. Dave was always known for his incredible memory, high intelligence, and free spirit. In the words of David himself, “…radio set to 90s Grunge, the open road and my own unique sense of adventure…I’m all set.”
David is survived by his parents, Richard and Carol Mack, his brother Richard and wife Alicia, his sister Angela and husband Tim, two nieces and two nephews. A funeral service and life celebration was held on Friday, June 4th in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
