It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Sayre Naughton on January 5, 2021. Born on December 16, 1933 and raised in Washington DC. Her parents were the late Dr. A. Nelson Sayre and May Laudenslager Sayre. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. She then went on to graduate from Wellesley College in 1956 with a Bachelor's degree in Zoology. Liz was a wonderful woman and I’m so grateful to have been able to care for her in her last few months. I knew we had special bond when I learned she was a member of PEO. This generous group provided me with a generous scholarship for nursing school, which led me to a job were Liz would be. She spoke so kindly of her family and the wonderful memories she had with them. Thank you Elizabeth for trusting the care of your mother with us.
