OBITUARY
Jami Lou Andrews
May 30, 1956 – May 2, 2010
Jami Lou (Jacobson) Andrews, 53, of So. Dennis passed away on May 2, 2010. She was the beloved wife of Craig G. Andrews and mother of Sarah Hilts of Dennis and Dawn Frank and her husband Army Sergeant Aaron Frank of Colorado. She was the daughter of the late James Jacobson and Gladys Dekker Jacobson formally of Wareham. Jami was a loving and caring wife, mother and doting Nana. She was born and raised in Wareham, MA and graduated from Wareham High School in 1975. As a young woman Jami enjoyed playing the flute and writing poetry and had a poem published by Readers’ Digest. Poetry was a passion that she had hoped to renew one day. Jami was a lover of the color green, all things old, calla lilies, dragon flies, lemon bread and bars, “Mustang Sally” and karaoke and was also an avid fan of the Patriots, the Red Sox and American Idol. Above all Jami loved spending time and playing with her grandchildren. She loved talking to people, whether they were friends or new acquaintances. She was always sure to bring a smile and laugh to family, friends and strangers alike with her whimsical way. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Often there were times where she put others before herself. As a teenager, after her father suffered a debilitating accident Jami took a Certified Nurse’s Assistant course in order to care for him at home. Jami will always be remembered for her generous heart and the love for her family. In addition to her husband and daughters, Jami is survived by her sisters Randi Sisson and her husband Scott of Orleans, MA, Beth Cornell and her husband Donald of Kentucky, and Becky Goodwin and her husband Wayne of Florida. Three step- children; Ryan A. Andrews and his wife Julianne of Whitesville, IN, Elizabeth M. Sanford and her husband Joseph of Oxford, IN and Trevor J. Andrews and his wife Ashton of Wilmington, NC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; Christopher, Brendan and Justin Hilts of Dennis, Aiden Frank of Colorado; Nicolas, Lincoln and a Player to be Named Later Sanford of Oxford, IN. Four nieces and four nephews; Mackenzie Sisson of Orleans, MA, Rebecca Sisson of Somerville, MA, Heidi Censullo of Florida, Joshua James Straughn and his wife Deborah of Brewster, MA, Adrienne, Jacob and Nathan Griffin all of Underhill, VT, and great nephews Christopher Pike and Cody Small of Brewster, MA and Joshua Censullo of Punta Gorda, Florida. Family and friend are invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday, May 15, 2010, 11 a.m. at the Federated Church of Orleans, 162 Main Street, East Orleans, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice. For more information and online condolences, please visit www.nickersonfunerals.com

Jami, I have so many childhood memories that include you. Growing up across the street from you and hanging out at the pond, or Cliffhill, the 4-Corners, The fort, too many to name them all. I wish we had kept in closer contact. After looking at your pictures I can see that you were a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and much, much more. I know that you have left an empty spot in the life of your family that no one else can fill. You will be truly missed.

Jami, our Dad’s where the closest friends on earth and most every childhood memory I have includes your family and you. Although we never knew each other as adults, you obviously never changed from the bright, funny and happy person I knew who was always there for a friend. God bless your family and god speed. Give our father’s a hug. Love always David

Dear Lord If roses grow in Heaven,Lord please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my friends arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her I Love her and miss her,and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her a while. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day. But there is a ache within my heart that will never go away.LoveYa Sally
