Following her retirement from Xerox Corporation in Connecticut, Joan and her husband David relocated to her family home in Chatham, where they enjoyed travel, bridge, gardening, and their miniature schnauzers. Joan was past president of the Women’s Club of Chatham and a member of the Monomoy Yacht Club. She served as a docent at the Atwood Museum and volunteered for the Republican Town Committee.
Joan was the beloved daughter of Wilbert Joseph (“Abe”) and Clara Miles Lincoln, and wife of the late David D. Bulkley. She was the loving mother of Claire Louise Lyons and her husband Joost van Oss of Los Angeles, and Mary Jane Baker and her husband Ted Baker of Needham. She leaves behind grandchildren Will Baker, Drew Baker, and Bryn Brennan, and their families.
Memorial services will be private. Donations in Joan’s memory may be made to the Eldredge Public Library in Chatham.
