

Larry G. Whited 70, of Chatham, MA died Sunday, Father’s Day, June 17, 2012 from complications from cancer in Liberty Commons, Chatham, MA with his wife by his side. He was the loving husband of Janet “Honey” (Sickel) Whited for 25 years.
He was born on June 27, 1940; He is the son of Betty Ally of Florida. He grew up in Ohio, and played sports for Ohio High School. He served in the U. S. Navy during Vietnam, in the Special Forces, as a Sergeant First Class.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his two children, Samantha Vollmar and Kristen Fazio both of Chatham, one granddaughter, Jennifer White of Chatham; and a brother in N.C and a sister in FL. He was well known in the Chatham Community. He worked for the Chatham Cookware, Impudent Oyster, Meservey’s, and a few more throughout the Cape and Islands over the years. He will be missed dearly.
His visitation will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. with a service at 6:30p.m in the Nickerson Funeral Home, 87 Crowell Road, Chatham, MA.
