Mom passed on to Heaven on December 18, 2015.
A Cape Codder all her life, she was born to Mary Hall and Seth Hamblin in 1949. She loved her young life growing up on the farm and the bogs in Marstons Mills. After graduating from the MacDuffie School for Girls in Springfield, Mom married my Dad, Wayne V. Love and moved to Chatham to start a family. Family and friends were her joys in life. Mom never missed a softball game, a ballet recital or girls scout event, she was always my biggest fan. She was there taking pictures and helping the nurses when her one and only granddaughter, Maya Victoria was born, her little pride and joy.
In later years, Mom went to college to receive her Bachelor's Degree from UMASS Dartmouth, graduating with honors, a great accomplishment for her.
Mom is survived by her granddaughter Maya V. Monahan, brother David Hamblin, best friend Louis Kircher, many family members and me, her daughter Amanda V. Love who will miss her whit, her sense of humor and her endless love and support.
There will be a memorial visitation on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 3 - 5pm, with a brief celebration of life service following the visitation. This will be held at Nickerson Funeral Home, 87 Crowell Road, in Chatham.
