Susan, Joni, John family and friends,
When those you love die, the best you can do is honor their spirit for as long as you live.
I Loved my Aunt to the moon and back. She inspired me and helped shape me in many ways. My Mom, Charlotte adored her and they remained friends throughout their lives. My Aunt taught me much in such a short time. Be kind to all, no matter their station in life. How to make my first salad, clean a house and to carry my head up high. She could tell a joke better than anyone I knew.
Her beauty, style and many graces dazzled me.
She wore her crown of life with greatness.
Thank you for the many gifts you gave. I will cherish them forever.
Always, Sandee

To Joni, John, Susan & family,
I was hoping to make 1 of the services w/ Rhonda but had multiple medical appts. in Falmouth for my upcoming knee surgery. My fondest memory was a situation I had just thought of before Christmas when Jim & I received a gift card from the Impudent Oyster. Around 25 yrs ago, Norma had given me a floral housecoat. On the night of her birthday dinner @ the Oyster, I put the housecoat on over my dress & approached the table where everyone was seated. With a straight face I proclaimed I liked the dress so much I just had to wear it out to her special dinner. I will never forget the look on her face as she explained it was't meant to be worn outside. Acting creastfallen, I said, " Ohhhh dear, I guess I'll have to take it off." Her face was mini- horrified until she realized she had been bamboozeled & everyone had a great laugh! She was a smart, classy, beautiful, hard working lady who will be missed. I'm sure her & Donald are ecstatic to be reunited, CJR

I have many wonderful memories of Norma. she was such a caring person. She would ask me ,is john behaving? cause if not you tell me! She also loved her flowers and Donald asked me one year if I would plant some flower boxes on the deck for her. She tended them with much water and when the seagulls decided they were very comfy to sit in she didn't mind! Norma loved all gods creations. I will miss our many rides to S +S she would look at the thickly settled signs always on the edge of woods and say ? woods woods woods! we always had fun talking about our families or telling jokes especially with a great stage at S+S! She missed her calling ! Rest in peace my sweet angel. You have earned your wings. Love Nancy.

I remember when Norma and Charlie were newly married she was so beautiful. She
made pretty little dresses for her girls and really seemed to love being a mother. My sincere condolences to her family.

Norma was our cousin by marriage but she always felt like blood relative to me. At about age, we moved back to this country and began spending summers in Chatham. Around this time , I recall meeting Norma. Her exceptional beauty, grace and elegance rivaled any movie stars. Norma was not only stunning, she was warm, kind and loving. She had a way of being very present with you making you feel very important indeed. She was always there when you needed her... many a time she saved me never wanting or expecting thanks and never ever mentioning it afterward. I thank you Norma for the many, many kindnesses and most of for your love. Rest In Peace ❤️

Norma was a cherished cousin and my mom's best friend. Her mother in law and my grandmother were sisters. Norma was kind and gentle and so full of grace. She had a killer knack for joke telling and was generous with her time and recipes. She was so proud of her family and her grandchildren. She was always warm and welcoming. My siblings and I will miss her so very much, but now she joins Donald and my mom once again. Peace to you, Norma. And love and hugs to her children, grandchildren, and extended family.

I remember Norma as a neighborhood mom. She had her hands full with 4 children who she adored...she was always so sweet and so beautiful!! I saw her at the lighthouse a few years ago and I knew who it was immediately..may all her memories be embraced by her children in their grief.

Norma was so important to me in my years as a young mother, married to a local builder. She casually said one day while showing us a lot, you would be good in real estate. A simple observation that changed my life, having now been a Realtor for 43 years. Norma had such a great sense of humor too, always fun to be with. I’m blessed to have a friendships with Susan, John and Joni to keep Norma’s memory with us. Rest In Peace Norma.
