Robert Crupi’s eye for quality was reflected in the life he built for himself and his family. He was proud of his roots in Red Hook Brooklyn and equally proud of Chatham, the community he spent the last three plus decades of his life in. He excelled as an engineer leaving his mark first in New York and then as an executive of an international engineering firm. He, and his wife Helen, had a passion for quality in design that was reflected in the homes their firm built, the art they collected and the friends they made. They jointly supported Jazz on Cape Cod for decades…an interest Bob continued until a few days before his untimely passing by attending a Bart Weisman Trio performance. Helen Crupi was the love of his life as were his children, his grandchildren his sister and nieces and nephews. It was a privilege to know him and to be his friend. He will be deeply missed by many, myself included.

The Wylie family feels very blessed to have had Bob involved with our family the last few years. My sister Pam and Bob were dear friends. We all have pieces of Bob’s talented woodworks in our homes and have celebrated many joyous occasions together including the wedding of our son Greg in September. We are going to miss his smile, laugh and toasts of wine!

Bob was so warm and welcoming when I moved to Chatham seven years ago. He was a fabulous neighbor and wonderful friend who would do anything for you. I will miss not seeing him ride his bike on the bike path or wave as he drove by.

Bob was a wonderful neighbor and friend. He was one of the initial Trustees for our condominium complex helping us transition to self management. Bob will be missed by all at Ridge Cove Lane..

We are deeply saddened to now lose the second of our two dear neighbors. Bob lived in the other half of our duplex for 15 years and was always so warm, hospitable, and helpful.
