Bob was born to the late George and Eleanor Gibb on July 27th, 1934 in Ludlow, MA. He graduated from Ludlow High School and earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and his MBA from America International College in Springfield, MA.
He served in the Army Reserves as a First Lieutenant and retired from Monsanto Company (resin, polymer division) in 1992 as Superintendent of Manufacturing.
A longtime resident of Wilbraham, MA he gave back to his community in many ways. He was a longtime member and past president of the Exchange club of Springfield. In his free time Bob enjoyed skiing, playing tennis, hiking and biking. Upon moving to the Cape he enjoyed the friendships he made through his membership in the Chatham Men’s Club and Monomoy Yacht Club. Bob and Eileen loved to travel, with their favorite places to vacation being Hawaii and Florida, where he could be found shelling on the beach.
Bob is predeceased by his parents, George and Eleanor Gibb, as well as his beloved twin brother, David Fox Gibb.
He is survived by his wife Eileen Gibb of Chatham, MA sisters-in-law Joan Amodio of Plymouth, MA and Elizabeth Tully of Austin, TX, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday December 2nd, 2023 at 10am at Our Lady of Grace Chapel located at Rte. 137, South Chatham, MA 02659. There will be a reception at the church following the services. Burial will be held at a later date.
