CHATHAM - Thomas D. Flint, formerly of Worcester, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 after an illness. Tom was born in Worcester, son of the late Alfred H. Flint and Shirley M. (Brown) Flint and graduated from North High School. He then served in the U.S. Marines /Air Force National Reserves with an honorable discharge.
He is survived by a daughter, Jessica L. Flint, family and friends.
He worked as a stage hand for many years at The DCU Center, Worcester, formerly known as The Centrum. He then went on to become a fisherman in Chatham, which also included shell fishing. In earlier years, he was an avid bowler and 3rd base softball player (nicknamed "the human vacuum cleaner"). Tom loved sports and excelled at all he tried.
Tom enjoyed many things throughout his lifetime; however, some of his most enjoyable things to do were walking on the beach, a good joke, spending time with his friends, and always drinking a can of Coke. He was up for anything, hardly ever complained, and always elevated the spirits of those around him. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends in both Chatham and Worcester.
