Joan and Vic--I just learned of Chris' death, and want to tell you how sorry I am. Even though we had some rough patches, I loved him dearly and think I always will. He was one of the most sensitive, empathic and intelligent men I have ever known. Our friendship began when he helped bring my daughter Kate out of an abusive relationship in Hyannis. His responses to her stress were Marvelously insightful and kind; I am sure you will miss him and I send you my most sincere sympathy. If there is anything I can do to help, I am in the phone book. I tried to phone you but neither the phone book nor directory assistance was any help. **sigh**
