Born in Hyannis, Massachusetts in 1935, William (Bill), a life-long resident of Chatham, was the proud owner of Eldredge Garage and Taxi. Bill graduated from Chatham High School in 1953, served in the United States Air Force, and was honored to be a Mason.
Bill was the husband of the late Virginia (Ginny) Eldredge and the brother of the late Kendrick N. Eldredge. He leaves behind two sons, Lester W. Eldredge and David P. Eldredge, two daughters, Sharon R. Kaplowitz and Susan D. Eldredge, and three grandchildren, Aaron, Eric and Gregory Kaplowitz.
