

William (Bill) Goldrick passed away peacefully at home on December 30, 2025, at the age of ninety-one after several months in Hospice Care.
Bill was born and grew up in Pascoag, Rhode Island, where he graduated from Burrillville High School. He served two years in the Navy during the days of the military draft. The day after his discharge, he had an interview at United Technologies in East Hartford, Connecticut, where he worked for 35 years until his retirement. Bill and his wife, Barbara, moved to Chatham, MA in 1999, where he was a frequent patron of the Chatham Village Market. He started playing golf in retirement, which he enjoyed with his "golf buddies." Bill and Barbara were also volunteers for Chatham First Night for many years.
Bill is survived by his wife, Barbara his high school sweetheart, to whom he was married for 68 years in November 2025. He is also survived by his four children Kathleen, Brenda, William, Jr., and Elizabeth, along with his sons-in-law Peter and Christopher and three grandsons Christopher, Austin, and Matthew.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Redeemer Church, 57 Highland Avenue, Chatham, MA on Friday, January 16, at 10 AM.
