Amber Nichole Reinel was born February 16, 1997, and passed away unexpectedly at the age of 26 in her home in Hixson, TN on Friday, May 5, 2023. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Gary Reinel and Nancy Reinel-Starks, and brother Travis Reinel.
Amber came to the Reinel family by way of social services when our parents received a call that a sweet 9-year-old girl needed a safe place to stay. Our family welcomed her with open arms like so many other foster children that came through our parent’s home. She officially, through adoption, became a member of the Reinel family on June 4, 2009, when she was 12 years old.
If you knew Amber, she was probably one of your best friends. The bonds she formed with many of her friends were solely based on the individual and their personality. She was loyal to the core, fierce in her battles, and loved with all her heart. Her smile, kindness, and energy could be felt when she walked into a room.
She leaves behind her brothers and sisters: Kevin Reinel, Kristin (Ty) Perry, Charity (Jeff) Duncan, Andrea Reinel (Ray Davis), Shawn (Liz) Reinel, and Lori Rose (long-time girlfriend of recently deceased brother Travis Reinel) who all loved her very much. Amber was the surprised bookend that God brought to our family, and we were all honored to be her siblings.
She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews: Makayla Reinel, Joshua Reinel, Matthew Duncan, Andrew Duncan, Conner Duncan, Jaxson Duncan, Zackary (Leah) Vane, Bradley Vane, Daniel Vane, Katelynn Davis, and Brandon Reinel. She was known to them as “Auntie Am” and each held a very special place in her heart.
Amber will be missed by many friends and co-workers who loved her very much. She will be forever in our hearts.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 20, from 10-11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church 5201 Dayton Blvd, Red Bank, TN 37415. And a Celebration of Life Service will be held immediately after the visitation at 11 a.m.
